Mansfield, at the foot of the Great Dividing Range in Victoria's High Country, is the gateway to the popular ski resort of Mt Buller and home to spectacular scenery, horse riding tracks, old buildings, wide streets and a range of accommodation that ideally caters for skiers or those looking for a scenic getaway.

Summer or winter, Mansfield presents ideal surroundings for a variety of outdoor activities.

In winter, snow is the primary focus for most activities as nearby Mt Stirling and Australia's largest ski resort, Mt Buller, play host to skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing and more.

During the warmer months visitors to Mansfield can enjoy horse riding, waterskiing at Lake Eildon or Lake Nillahcootie, 4WD adventures, hiking and hot air ballooning. Taking place in February / March each year is the Mansfield Hot Air Balloon Festival which attracts spectators and participants from around Victoria.

More relaxing, but just as much fun is Mansfield Zoo and wine tasting at local wineries.
